Luck

3. One's personal fate or lot: It was just my luck to win a trip I couldn't take.

To gain success or something desirable by chance: lucked into a good apartment; lucked out in finding that rare book.

Luck is so mysterious; it's not something you can work for, but still it determines so many things - like which family you are born into, your professional/personal life, how successful you are and the list goes on . Just think about what you could achieve if you are blessed with good luck for life (like a few people I know!). Ofcourse, things just can't happen if you don't work towards it (ahem, cough... cough... every rule has an exception), but without luck, you are doomed; but with luck - you get unexpectedly good or better results. Luck is also being at the right place at the right time... God! How do you do that?!

Oh well, I will continue to ponder on this... Wish me luck!
